SUMMARY:September 2023 Membership Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at the Wentzville Community Club\, 500 West Main Street\, Wentzville.   \nOur September meeting will feature Tim Welker presenting a program about the Welker Family Farm\, Cemetery\, and the Family through the generations.   \nThe meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with a catered meal for $15 provided by West Allen Grill.  Bring your friends and neighbors – everyone is welcome.  For dinner reservations\, please contact Bill Vehige at 636-272-5506 by Sunday September 17th\, or you can send an email to WentzvilleCHS@mail.com\, state the number of reservations needed and the names of each individual.  The doors open at 6pm and the program will begin at approximately 7:15p.m. It is important that you order your meal if you’d like to eat. You do not need to to purchase a meal to attend the program.

SUMMARY:2023 Cemetery Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join the Wentzville Community Historical Society at Linn and South Linn Cemetery\, for their sixth annual Cemetery Tour.  We will tell stories of ten people buried in the cemeteries.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the History Center 310 W. Pearch Blvd. (Old City Hall) M-F\, 10-2.  Tickets will also be available the date of the event at the Cemetery or on Eventbrite. \nFor those that have difficulty walking – we will have golf carts available to escort you around.  The event is from 1 to 4p.m.\, but the last tour starts at 3pm. \nFor More information follow us on Facebook Wentzville Historical Society
