SUMMARY:2025 Cemetery Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join the Wentzville Community Historical Society at Linn and South Linn Cemetery\, for their 8th annual Cemetery Tour.  We will tell stories of ten people buried in the cemeteries.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the History Center 310 W. SUMMARY:March 2023 General Membership Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at the Wentzville Community Club\, 500 West Main Street\, Wentzville.   \nOur March meeting will feature Mary Ellen Rowland from the Caroline Close Stuart Chapter of the NSDAR presenting a program about John France\, a black Civil War soldier who is buried at the Grant Chapel AME Cemetery in Wentzville.  We will also hold our annual elections. \nThe meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with a catered meal for $15 provided by West Allen Grill.  Bring your friends and neighbors – everyone is welcome.  For dinner reservations\, please contact Bill Vehige at 636-272-5506 by Sunday March 19th\, or you can send an email to WentzvilleCHS@mail.com\, state the number of reservations needed and the names of each individual.  The doors open at 6pm and the program will begin at approximately 7:15p.m. It is important that you order your meal if you’d like to eat.  You do not need to purchase a meal to attend the program.

SUMMARY:Holiday Home Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join The Wentzville Community Historical Society on Sunday\, December 11th for their fourth annual Holiday Home Tour. The tour this year will be a driving tour\, and will start at the History Center (310 W. Pearce Blvd.) From there you will be able to drive and enter several decorated homes in Wentzville. Afterwards\, you are invited to continue the fun at Friendship Brewery Company\, where you will be given a free drink ticket\, and be eligible to win a lovely gift basket. There will also be 50/50 raffle tickets for sale. The homes will be open from 3 to 7pm (last tour starts at 6pm). Tickets are $20\, and may be purchased before the event at the History Center (310 W. Pearce Blvd) M-F 10-2\, and from Ellbees General Store on West Main Street\, or on Eventbrite. You can also purchase tickets the day of the event. DESCRIPTION:Join the Wentzville Community Historical Society at Linn and South Linn Cemetery\, for their fifth annual Cemetery Tour.  We will tell stories of ten people buried in the cemeteries.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Historical Center 310 W.
